I’m a Board Certified Behavior Analyst passionate about creating meaningful, lasting change in the lives of the individuals and families I serve. I hold a Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Purdue University.
Outside of my professional work, I enjoy church, the simple but meaningful moments in life—like a great cup of coffee and watching my children reach new milestones. Family time is incredibly important to me, and I value every opportunity to connect and grow together. When I get the chance to unwind, I enjoy playing chess and binge-watching movies and shows.
At my core, I’m driven by growth, connection, and making a positive impact—both professionally and personally.
Hi, I’m Altonya. With a Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis and a specialization in Autism Spectrum Disorder, I’m passionate about helping children, parents, and caregivers thrive. I take a hands-on approach, working directly with and guiding families, and creating practical strategies that make learning meaningful, manageable, and fun. Every child is unique, and every step forward is a victory worth celebrating.
I’m also deeply committed to teaching and mentoring. I love guiding adults in the field, sharing knowledge, modeling best practices, and helping others grow into confident, capable professionals. My goal is to help every child and adult reach their full potential, build meaningful relationships, and empower families with the tools and confidence to support their journey.
I am a compassionate, loving, and understanding professional with a passion for helping others and fostering kids and adults' growth. I love encouraging people, solving problems, and supporting learning and development. My background in cybersecurity has strengthened my attention to detail and problem-solving skills, which I bring into every workplace interaction. I thrive in environments where I can make a positive impact, support my team members, and help create a productive and encouraging atmosphere.
My passion for ABA began while working in the classroom as a substitute teacher. While supporting entire groups of students, I noticed how some individuals truly thrived when they received intentional, one-on-one guidance. Seeing the difference, individualized attention could make me inspired to pursue a role where I could provide that focused support every day. With a B.A. in Communication from Cal State Fullerton, I value connection, collaboration, and clear, compassionate interaction with both clients and families. My background as an aroma technician also deepened my appreciation for mindfulness and helping individuals regulate and feel calm in their environment. As an RBT, I am committed to creating supportive, structured, and empowering spaces where each client feels understood, respected, and capable of growth.
My name is Laura Haynes, and I am a Certified Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). I also bring 10 years of experience as an Instructional Behavior Technician with San Diego City Schools, where I supported students in educational settings.
I am passionate about creating a supportive and engaging environment where clients feel safe, valued, and motivated to learn. My approach is rooted in compassionate care, a client-centered mindset, and an emphasis on dignity and respect. I strongly believe in collaboration with families to ensure consistency and success across all environments.
In addition to my professional experience, I have family members who are on the autism spectrum and who have developmental delays. This personal connection deepens my understanding, compassion, and commitment to the families I serve.
While I have experience in the clinical setting, I have a strong desire to expand my work into school, home, Social Services, and daycare settings to support children in a variety of environments.
I believe every child has the ability to grow and succeed with the right support, and I am committed to helping each individual reach their fullest potential.
Fun Fact: I am originally from San Diego, California, but I’m a proud fan of the Green Bay Packers!
